Refund policy

1. Overview

Track and Tune aims to provide the highest quality service on every visit. This Refund Policy sets out your rights and our obligations in relation to refunds and cancellations.

2. Satisfaction Guarantee (Stage 1 Remaps)

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all Stage 1 ECU remaps. If you are not satisfied with the performance improvement following your remap, we will revert your vehicle's ECU to its original factory settings free of charge. A refund may be considered at our discretion if we are unable to achieve satisfactory results for your specific vehicle.

3. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment will receive a full refund of any deposit paid
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment may result in the deposit being retained to cover technician scheduling costs
  • In the event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of any deposit paid

4. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are non-refundable once completed:

  • Stage 2 ECU remaps (as these involve hardware modifications)
  • Ghost Immobiliser installations (once installed and activated)
  • Vehicle tracker installations (once installed and activated with the provider)
  • DPF/EGR/AdBlue solutions (once the software or hardware modification has been applied)

This is because these services involve irreversible hardware or software changes that cannot be undone once completed.

5. Faulty Workmanship

If you believe our work has caused a fault or issue with your vehicle, please contact us within 7 days of the service. We will investigate the matter promptly and, if the issue is determined to be caused by our workmanship, we will rectify it at no charge or provide an appropriate refund.

6. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 working days and returned to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You retain all rights afforded to you under UK consumer law.
